Seeking Safety

An evidence-based model used to treat individuals that have
experienced trauma, anxiety, depression, and/or substance abuse.
Seeking Safety provides a present-focused, cognitive-behaviorally based
approach that provides education and coping skills to move toward
safety and rebuild hope.

Group Goals

1. Empower individuals with activities, handouts and examples that help them gain healthier coping skills

2. Learn how to communicate and ask for help

3. Education around what makes relationships healthy versus unhealthy

4. Develop ways to channel anger toward improving your life and relationships, rather than have it be destructive.
